Neville was never the smartest bottlefly that ever buzzed his way into their precinct, however is one of the more “valuable” eyes-on-the-sky-and-underbellies that they’ve ever had, the difficulty’s just weening the information out of him three hours at a time (his lawyer’s always conveniently “stuck in traffic” when this part of the process goes on)

Just thought I’d get more practice painting as I’m really starting to enjoy it profusely.

This is the face of a man who doesn’t enjoy his job. When the repetition of near world-eradicating-calamities and threats of loved ones coming under cosmic rule if anyone were to find out who you were; it’s understandable the neuroticism and the depression would hit it’s peak. The job still needs done though so… get to it, bud.

(I’ve never actually painted properly in photoshop, so I merely just farted something out before practicing properly with the software)

I’m finally underway with a comic project and it wasn’t the other two I had previously announced (my commitment and work ethic are appalling, I’m aware)! This is one I’m working on with someone else serving writing duties to an idea we both melded together to create. Once the ball gets rolling I’ll start posting updates. Brazilian graphic designer and illustrator Butcher Billy got the idea of turning famous love hits into book covers of horror master Stephen King. 

Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” The Smiths, “Head Over Heels” by Tears For Fears and many others were portrayed in a very unusual way.

“This series imagines an alternate universe where some of the most desperate and tragic romantic songs in the ‘70s and’ 80s are actually books written by Stephen King. The concept is to look at the dark side of love by the vision of pop culture, bringing aspects of its classic stories to play the true meaning of the songs - this can be completely subverted or stressed strangeness, while paying tribute to the vintage design of the original covers,” Butcher writes on his Behance.
